I geek you not
Eek! I think I’m finally coming round to the fact that I have some geeky qualities. To prove my point, I dreamt about Wordpress last night! Yep, you heard me, I dreamt about something that none of my ‘offline’ friends or family have even heard of and…I enjoyed it.
I admit to liking cars (Audi’s in particular), gadgets of all descriptions, I count Google reader as my trusty friend and I’m an avid Firefox supporter. I hang out at 27 and geek dinners, I Twitter non stop (even when I’m out at parties), I have online withdraw symptoms when I go to the Cederberg, I laugh at error 404 jokes and I speak a language that my hubby doesn’t understand.
I get excited by WiFi enabled hotel rooms, I’d give my right arm for a Macbook Air and I’ve registered my blog on all the relevant aggregators. I even figured out how to insert the code!
I follow Muti to check what’s hot, I use Facebook to manage my social calendar, I synch my Outlook calendar with my Google calendar and then write it all (in black pen) in my immaculate Moleskin diary. (Random thought: is it really mole skin?)
Last but not least I no longer have fat dog with a frisbee moments when people talk about Cpanels.

I think whats even scarier is that I’m now teaching all my mates the lingo, and they reply without a battered eyelid!
